Paul Zdrill, from Kenora, took home $7,870 after lucky ticket number, BB-9969491, was drawn during the May 2 Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) Foundation 50/50 draw. Our winner was in disbelief upon receiving the call informing him of the win. “Is this a prank?” he said. Paul told us that he purchased tickets this past weekend thinking that the draw took place last week, and so he wanted to get tickets for the next draw. What he didn’t realize was that with draw dates now having changed to the first Tuesday of each month, he actually bought a second set of tickets for this draw. That second set contained the lucky ticket!

The next jackpot draw is already underway, and SLMHC Foundation has revised features of its lottery to provide convenience and engage participants! Jackpot draws now take place on the first Tuesday of each month, providing consistency within the jackpot schedule and offering up additional opportunities for supporters to purchase last minute tickets after other regional draws take place. Ticket options have also been enhanced, offering larger bundles to buyers that wish to increase their odds!

Check out the new ticket bundles today, and take a chance to be the next lucky winner of thousands on Tuesday, June 6. Be an early bird and purchase tickets before 11 a.m. on May 19 to be automatically entered for a chance to win $1,000 cash!

Follow SLMHC Foundation on Facebook and Instagram and visit SLMHC Foundation  website for more details on monthly 50/50 draws, early bird prizes and draw rules/FAQs. All lottery proceeds help with the purchase and replacement of necessary hospital equipment. Your generosity and participation is so appreciated!
