Skip to Equip 2024 Planning Underway

Skip to Equip 2024 committee has reconvened and planning is underway for the 13th annual lady’s bonspiel foundation fundraiser event. We are all excited to announce that through an invited bid process, Home Hardware Sioux Lookout will return as the title sponsor of the event, with a renewed 2-year commitment.

2023 was a flag ship year for the event surpassing every previous years’ fundraising record for a total contribution of $130,000 to the local Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre Foundation.

In the past 12 years the event has now raised over $900,000 supporting future long term care beds and new diagnostic equipment through the foundation, including the recent contribution toward the MRI campaign. This year we have the potential to reach over $1,000,000 in total funds raised by this event. With this in mind, the committee has coined the theme of this year’s event as “If We Had A Million Dollars”.

We ask the area businesses to watch for the 2024 sponsorship letter to come, and for community members and past participants to watch for purple ticket sales this summer, and to start connecting with new and old teammates. The sooner you register a team the sooner you can get out and get those pledges.
