The Standard Insurance Brokers in Sioux Lookout have partnered with Wawanesa Insurance to support the Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) Foundation’s capital fund project to bring a new Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Scanner to Sioux Lookout.

On Dec. 2, staff from The Standard Insurance Brokers in Sioux Lookout presented a donation in the amount of $25,000 to the SLMHC Foundation. “The addition of an MRI Scanner to the hospital in Sioux Lookout will provide patients in our region of Northwestern Ontario with state of the art diagnostic services without the need to travel long distances to receive care,” shared Jennifer Blanchard, Personal Branch Manager at The Standard Insurance Brokers in Sioux Lookout.

She added, “With Wawanesa, we have committed to a combined total contribution of $25,000 over two years in 2024 and 2025. Together, we can contribute to the strength and well-being of our communities.”
